Just had to share this little gem of an image found on Mute Math's MySpace site:

Paul Meany Loves You!Collapse )

Now see, just look at that whenever you're having a bad day and your morale will be instantaneously lifted a couple dozen notches. ;)

MuteMath's website has finally launched, and Macrosick updated theirs to a more navigable layout.

Next Tuesday is the day we've been waiting for! [RESET] will be in stores. Also, that Art of Being book that was mentioned earlier came out this week, so keep your eyes peeled for it as well.

w00t for ES happenings!

Check it out - the good admin over at the official board posted some footage from MuteMath's breakout GMA performance - an entire song, in fact, that song being "Chaos", which I don't believe is on the EP, but will be on the full album that's coming out later.

Awesome stuff!! It feels so good to see (half of) my favorite dudes back in action, and in such top form!

Attention, 'Suitcases!

MuteMath has a page up at PureVolume with the full-length versions of "Control", "Peculiar People", and "Reset"... all of which are mindblowingly awesome. By the way, the release date for the EP is now officially September 28th (nope, it isn't happening this month as previously planned, dangit). But now at least we have something relatively substantial to tide us over!

I've been constantly listening to the MuteMath sound clips and can't wait for the cd to come out. Is it really August 24th? I hope so.. I saw it written somewhere online but I'm not positive that it's the definite date. Anyone know for sure?

Our own Paul Meany and a number of other brilliant people (Jonathan Foreman, Charlie Peacock, Phil Keaggy, Gabriel Wilson, etc) are each contributing a chapter to a book called The Art of Being... definitely looks like something worth picking up. :) Comes out September 21st.

Here's an excerpt from Paul's chapter, which is titled "Being Present in the Gray":

"I have come to realize that my own identity is not black-and-white; I am not easy to categorize. And if I choose to ignore the gray areas of life, I choose to ignore reality and, more important, the truth of who I am. Of course, many people would say, "Stand for something or you'll fall for anything." Even the Bible says, "No man can serve two masters" (Matthew 6:24, ASV). But while God may hate a lukewarm heart, I've found Him to be very present in the grayness of my existence..."

Hi! [08 Jul 2004|01:21am]

yodge
Hi there... I'm new here. Came across the Earthsuit forum on the Web and saw the post about this comm, so thought I'd join. :o)

*waves*

I don't know why I took so long to find out about MuteMath & Macrosick. I was following Earthsuit news with a passion for a couple years... but never managed to find much information (plus, living on the other side of the world on a tiny island doesn't help)... and the Earthsuit website was/is stuck in a timewarp (and it's background music was killing me!) so I gradually gave it up as a lost cause. *kicks self* Found the forum after a burst of inspiration that came out of nowhere... hadn't even thought about ES for nearly a year.

Oh well. Here I am!

Check it out, some very random (but very cool) German website put up two clips of "Peculiar People" and "Control" from the MuteMath EP. Sounding quite spiffy indeed... man, I have missed these guys.

(Clips require RealPlayer, FYI.)

Woo hoo! Found this community and joined it. Great idea! I've been so out of touch with the whole 'Suitcase crew for so long. :( But, this is a start to getting hooked back up with old friends, huh? ;) Thanks for making the community, Alley. :)

'Suitcases one and all - here's the current lowdown:

MuteMath played at GMA week, with outstanding response. Their debut album hits stores August 24th, so mark your calendars. Oh, and the official site is here - with recent pics of Paul, Darren & co. (Dig the tie deal they have going on!)

Macrosick is currently being looked at by some major mainstream record labels and recently played at the House of Blues in New Orleans. Photos from that show here. (You can hear clips from and buy their current demo here.)

And of course, for those who haven't seen them - the Flevo vids!:

- Flevo 2002 Performance
- Paul and Adam being weirdos pre-Flevo

Will try to dig up the '01 and Winter Wonder Rock links later.

Thazzall for now! Welcome to the community!
